Thoughts on how I play Donut. Good? Bad? All critique, please comment here. We all stray from time to time so it's always good to be pointed back in the right direction. Praise also welcome because when is it not!

 Pic ☄ Character Information ♚ NAME: Pvt. Franklin Delano Donut ♚ AGE: 27 (headcanon) ♚ HEIGHT: 5'9 out of armor. 6'2 in armor (headcanon) ♚ CANON: Red vs Blue ♚ CANON POINT: End of Season 13. ♚ HISTORY: Link ♚ INVENTORY: 1) MJOLNIR. Power Assault Armor. Basically, Power Armor. It gives Donut extra strength, speed and protects him from bullets. The armor is made for Space Marines who fight in the vacuum of space. The power armor is canon specific. 2) Guns. Specifically a sniper rifle and two hand guns. The sniper rifle has two rounds, 100 bullets each, and the hand guns have 10 bullets each. 3) 10 grenades (5 sticky, 5 frag) 4) A crown of pink larkspur flower. ♚ FLAWS: - Donut killed Agent Texas in revenge for the grenade she stuck to his head that nearly killed him the first time. - In his time in Red Team, Donut has killed lots of soldiers. - Donut doesn't generally get angry nor is he a blood thirsty soldier, but there have been a few times he's admitted to Sarge that he enjoys killing people. ♚ ABILITIES: - Donut excels at tossing things! It's listed as one of his abilities in fanbook which is another running gag since S1 to present day. Both the reds and blues soldiers have complimented him at different times on his great arm which he uses to throw grenades at targets none of the others could ever reach. - Donut is a soldier so he can do all his soldier duties: Shoot, drive large cars, maintain his equipment, etc. - One of his most notable attributes is his eye for fashion and interior design. In the same note, he's got a knack for accessorizing. - He speaks Spanish at a 9th grade level though his Spanish has gotten better over the years since he spends so much time talking to Lopez, red team's Spanish speaking robot. ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: The following derives from headcanon. Underneath the lightish-red armor, Donut is your typical blond farm boy. He's 5'9 with hazel eyes. He's got a scar on the back of his head (right side) covered up by his hair where a sticky grenade exploded on him and one in his abdomen from where he got shot. No tatto's and no piercings. His PB is Yogi from Karneval. ♚ FASHION: Donut loves anything fancy. Good material. You'll see him in nice jeans and a fitted tee but you'll also catch him in suits. He's got a thing for fashion so he's never in one style for long. He loves dressing up, so don't be surprised to find him in a sailor's or cowboy outfit, or cop uniform. ♚ DEMEANOUR: Donut tends to give overzealous responses. He's a happy guy who'll readily strike up a conversation with a stranger and loves hugs! However, when he's in his soldier mode he's totally a jock. He'll follow orders no problem, shoot the enemy. Kill them and not feel a thing. War is war and the only people he cares about in that situation are his teammates. ♚ AURAL: Donut's speech pattern is that of a teenage girl and guy. He switches between both and is known for his double entendre's. He's also a great singer as seen in Donut the Musical. ♚ OLFACTORY: Donut loves his bath bombs. He's always smelling of something nice. He does cologne but the guy bathes with a lot of floral items meaning he does smell flowery quite a bit. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Donut is a regular human. He has no mental protection. If someone goes into his head they'll immediately become more effeminate (canon) without realizing it and start spouting feminist propaganda (canon). ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Donut is a regular human with no magical abilities or potential. ☄ CRAU - The Far Shore ♚ GOD: Hyacinthus (Greek) ♚ GOD TYPE: Flower God ♚ POWER: - Shield Powers. An automatic energy shield that can withstand an anti-gravity bomb. The shield will be able to propagate up to 100ft. Since he's a peaceful frolicking flower god it allows him to confront others without losing his head by automatically protecting him if he senses danger. However, if he doesn't sense danger then it will not automatically protect him. The shield will react to emotional damage too, protecting him as if it were a physical attack. - Perception (see/recognize spirits) - Teleportation (can teleport himself and others including spirits by touching them). - Larkspur flowers. These flowers are his namesake and are drawn to him and will grow more rapidly in his presence. They have an affinity to him and can sense his mood and respond in kind ie curl around him when he's feeling lonely, bloom when he's feeling happy, wither when he's feeling down. ♚ DEFINITIONS: Gods: "Immortal" beings born from the wishes of humans and made to serve those wishes. Shinki: The divine weapons of the gods. All shinki are humans that have died, their souls being given a name and purpose by the god that names them. Ayakashi: Negative energy, thoughts, and spirits that have grouped together to bring disaster down on everyone. Blight: A sort of disease that plagues gods and shinki when they come in direct contact with an ayakashi. It is a sort of impurity. ♚ PREVIOUS DEVELOPMENT: Although Donut came from a warzone, he quickly adapted to civilian life and aspired to be a fun frolicking god! He tried his best to embody the qualities of the god he was supposed to represent but never forgot his military roots. The lost soul that became his weapon to fight against Ayakashi was the Medicine Seller who he named Hikari in order to turn him into his shinki. With Hikari at his side, Donut took on prayers his followers left at his temple and fought against ayakashi. But more importantly, he learned how to take care of another human being. In Red Team, he was always the baby of the group and was often ordered around by them and protected. In the FarShore, the tables turned and Donut was the one who needed to protect his shinki. He learned to think not just about himself but about his shinki's emotional well-being. However, Hikari was often quiet about his problems which lead to a lot of misunderstandings. Donut had a hard time taking care of him when he wouldn't tell him how he was feeling but slowly, but surely, he started to learn how to engage his shinki, an emotionally stunted being, and bring him out of his solitude little by little. Thus, by being forced to be around someone who depended on him, Donut became more a responsible person prioritizing another's well-being over his own. . |

MYTH OF HYACINTHUS:
Hyacinthus was a handsome young Spartan prince loved by the gods Apollo and Zephyrus. He became the lover of Apollo and the West-Wind grew jealous of his rival in love. One day, as the pair were playing discus, he blew the discus off course causing it to strike Hyacinthus in the head thereby killing him. Distraught by his death, the grieving Apollo forbade Hades from claiming his soul and transformed his mortal remains into a larkspur flower (hyakinthos in Greek). Due to Apollo's interference, Hyacinthus became a Deity of Flowers and was whisked up to Mount Olympus to live happily ever after.
POWERS:
- Shield Powers. An automatic energy shield that can withstand an anti-gravity bomb. The shield will be able to propagate up to 100ft. Since he's a peaceful frolicking flower god it allows him to confront others without losing his head by automatically protecting him if he senses danger. However, if he doesn't sense danger then it will not automatically protect him. The shield will react to emotional damage too, protecting him as if it were a physical attack.

TEMPLE:
HYACHINTHUS Temple is located in the FarShore near the ocean. The entrance to his temple is via the beach. You will find yourself facing a set of gates. The gates are usually open to the beach. Once inside, the grounds open to a field of his namesake, larkspur flowers. The god can often be found frolicking among them as they tell him their secrets, imparting everything that happens among them including who and what passed through. At the entrance, there's three cobble-stone paths that open up. The center leads to the actual temple which rises up from the field of flowers as a decadent castle off in the distance. The other two veer off in opposite directions leading to different flower mazes. The entrance to the castle/temple opens to a Spartan Red Hall. The long hallway leads to the Grand Staircase, and into the Ceremonial Hall where the god spends most of his time surrounded by bouquets of larkspur when he's not out frolicking among them. Within the castle, there are just below a hundred rooms, each decadently furnished along with a modest library for leisurely reading.

It's lightish-red!!! On a serious note, he has no real triggers. Mun has none of note either. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go ahead! But he'll defend himself! In canon, he has the highest near-death experiences. It's kind of his thing so give me all your near death encounters! Open for for any debilitating injury or death just ask for discussion and plot! ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go ahead. He's an affectionate guy who tends to initiate physical contact himself but it's always friendly. He doesn't mean anything by it. Also, he'd respond positively to physical contact. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: None without notable CR. He may be an affectionate guy but he's never concerned himself with romantic relationships. Also, he's 27 so any character under 20 will absolutely be just a friend. ☄ Opt-Out ♚ CR OPT OUT: Part of his personality relies heavily on double entendre's. It's important to know that he's canonly oblivious to them and never means them in a sexual manner. However, due to the nature of his canon and the humor surrounding his character in reference to homosexuality, if you'd like to opt-out of CR due to any potential problems I'm completely fine with it just let me know no explanations required!
